Definitely a baby then (plus a lot of soup)
The little bean is as antisocial as ever. During my 16 week midwife check I had the rather wonderful experience of being able to hear his/her heartbeat for the first time.
Good thing I was listening carefully because after a couple of seconds there was a loud POP, and the heartbeat disappeared. "Ah" said Carol, "That'll be baby kicking the machine and moving away then..." Eventually she found it again, and I had a few more seconds of grinning like an idiot before there was another POP and then silence.
Carol found a great way to bring me down from my maternal haze though - she's booked me in for a flu jab in October...
