Coming along nicely

Everything's a bit wilty in this heat - the tomatoes that had shriveled in the 'cold' frame today perked up nicely after a good soak in cool water. It might take a little longer for me to do the same - after a long break I chose this week to start cycling to work again, and the journey there is more or less three miles uphill.

I have found the energy to pot on some seedlings though - the spaghetti squash are ready to be planted out and I don't think the cucumbers are far off.

We'll also be putting up bean canes over the bank holiday weekend and sowing some borlotti and French beans (blue lake). Not on Sunday though - Sunday is 'day out at the seaside' day! Where's my hat...
