Needles all round
I had to take the poor little'un for his 12 week innoculations this afternoon. Luckily he's such an equable and cheerful little chap he had just a few good yells after the injections, then went back to smiling happily at the nurses and asking to be fed (clasped pleading hands and a lot of Groucho-esque eyebrow wiggling). I suspect it might have been a slightly different story if he hadn't had a good solid two hour nap before we went to the surgery.
As well as giving him a bit of a reserve of stoicism, his naptime also allowed me to catch up with a little sewing. I started some applique aaaaages ago, and then lost some of the cut-out pieces I had ready to stitch on. After a good scrattle through my fabric stash last week and a tidy out of my sewing box, I found them folded into a packet of bonda-web and am back to happily blanket-stitching autumn leaves onto a brown fleece blanket.
It may stay as a blanket once I've finished it, or I may trim it and turn it into Something. Not sure yet...
